Our Story

Founded by Janitha, a passionate solo developer from Kandy, Travonee was born from a deep love for travel and a strong background in web development, performance optimization, and seamless mapping systems.

While traveling across Sri Lanka, the difficulties of trip planning, finding accurate information, and navigating solo became strikingly clear. Determined to change that, Janitha built a platform that puts travelers first — resulting in a highly responsive, fast, and reliable experience that works flawlessly even on the move.

We officially launched from Kandy in March 2026, beginning our journey in the cultural heart of Sri Lanka and expanding across the entire island.
