While Google Maps shows you locations, Travonee helps you discover over 1,000+ places, connect with nearby travelers in real time, check-in, chat safely via Speaky, and explore the island confidently — all in one seamless platform.

Is Travonee safe for solo travelers and solo female travelers in Sri Lanka?

Yes. Safety is our top priority. You have full control over your location sharing and visibility at any time. Many solo and solo female travelers use Travonee to find nearby verified travelers, get local tips, and feel more secure while backpacking in Sri Lanka.

How do I find places and nearby travelers easily?

Simply enable your location and use “Places Near You”. You’ll instantly see nearby attractions with exact distance and estimated travel time (by tuk-tuk, bus, train or taxi). You can also search any place across Sri Lanka and see real travelers currently around it.

Is Travonee free to use?

Yes. You can create a free account and fully participate in the Sri Lanka Travel Community — post, share check-ins, and interact with others.

What is your refund policy?

Use the Nearby Travelers feature. It shows real people close to your location so you can safely connect, chat via Speaky, and even plan trips or meetups together.

Do I need to download a separate mobile app?

Not yet. Our website delivers a full app-like experience on both mobile and desktop browsers. Dedicated native iOS and Android apps are currently in development and will launch very soon.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime directly from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing, but you keep access until the end of your current paid period.
